Images from "The Essence of Being" are an exploration of human nature through a color photographic process. I juxtapose images of people photographed in the studio with images taken in my environment. This layering creates a new composition that enhances the idea that we are constantly shaped by our environment and uniquely meshed within it.

Fine art prints from this series are 30x45" unmounted c-prints made by the artist in the color darkroom.
Each is a unique print due to the anomolies of the process in a limited edition of 10.
